Special Mother’s Day Wish

This Sunday, 22 March, is Mother’s Day and breast cancer survivor, Julie-Anne Dineen whose single, Do You Believe tops the Irish charts, has expressed a special Mother’s Day wish.

Julie-Anne hopes her single will still be on top of the charts on Mother’s Day. All the proceeds will go to the Symptomatic Breast Cancer unit at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital where she finished treatment for breast cancer last Friday.

Julie-Anne said: “It is mad, I can’t believe it. We are all exhausted but it is brilliant. This song was recorded in memory of all the daughters, mothers, sisters, grandmothers and friends who have died from breast cancer.”

She has just completed a tour of Limerick schools where she performed her chart topping song and spreading a cancer aware message.

Julie Anne said: “Women should be breast aware and should contact their GPs if they have any concerns. Screening and early detection save lives. And women everywhere should understand that there is life and hope before cancer, during cancer and afterwards.”

Husband David said: “The support of Limerick people has been phenomenal. This is a part of Limerick that the rest of Ireland never sees. Every single penny raised from this is going to the breast cancer unit in the regional hospital.”

Julie-Anne’s song  Do You Believe is currently available for download for €0.99 at www.downloadmusic.ie  or by texting the word music followed by a space then the number 2554 to 57501.

The single is also available for purchase in record stores in Limerick priced at €1.99. The phenomenal sales of the single have come as a great surprise to those behind it, and they are hoping to get it into record stores nationwide shortly.
